Hello, I’d like an abstract of a hypotetical paper about how TikTok is a means of cultural exchange amongst members of a given culture. This paper will focus on online church comedy content that is made and shared amongst African American users on TikTok, and the usage of Black Gospel music to tell comedic stories about collective shared experiences in the Black church. I’d like for this abstract to speak about how this how Black users are not only able to celebrate Black culture via church comedy, but also offer critique of the Black church, thus opening up important dialouge amongst Black users.
