Identify three different points of interaction between religion and government that you think are most important to understanding the evolution of the relationship between church and state in the United States. This could be anything from the various ways the earliest settlers understood the relationship to the role the Bill of Rights would play in the new nation, to more contemporary court cases that began to shape the relationship, to the ways in which religion began to enter politics in the 20th century.
