Final Paper
Goal: a research paper on a topic of your choosing. The research paper must show how the topic is connected to American politics and race. Why is it important and a research question and thesis statement.
Length: 7 pages.
Requirements:

Clear topic/transition sentences, coherent paragraphs, sources cited properly

Claims made are supported by evidence from readings or lectures.

Few grammatical errors, run-on sentences, active voice
Preferred topics: Citizenship, Civil Rights, Immigration Policy
Some background on my class and professor:
It’s an American politics and race class, we have covered all history regarding civil rights (since the 1800s), it could be something about immigration policy. The professor has shown a preference towards issues of the African American and Latino Population.
