This essay is a comprehensive overview of existing arguemnts surrounding the idea of determinism, focusing on Aristotle’s ideas at the end of his Physics Book II. The last few pages should also focus on portions of Susan Sauve Meyer’s book “Aristotle on Moral Responsibility”.
What I have written is quite choppy and in need of revision to make it flow coherently. I have also copied and pasted portions of reference material that I would like to include concepts from, but written originally. These portions are typed in color and the reference links are included below in order. I would like these portions mainly transcribed but some ideas may be better included with quotations and a following explanation.
