Assignment 2 Scenario
You work for a national organisation that provides advice to self-build house builders. Your national government is trying to ensure that self-builders have the basic information to build to a modern two-storey house. Your earlier guidance about the basic structure of a house in Qatar was well received and you have now been asked to provide some guidance to help builders build as sustainably as possible.
Task
Write your guidance in the form of a paper; with an abstract, a discussion and recommendations. Your paper should analyse ways in which builders can minimise the embodied carbon that is required to build a house and the energy that will be used to maintain the house as a comfortable home.
You should also include guidance about how builders can minimise the water consumption of a house and design a house and its surroundings to deal with rainfall and any other climatic conditions in the State of Qatar.
Include at least two sketches with proper dimensions in your paper, which you should use to illustrate relevant aspects of sustainable houses.
This paper should be the continuance to the earlier submitted assignment, [Refer to 1st Assignment under Annexure 1: Basic Structure of a Modern House in the State of Qatar] and no part of the 1st assignment should be repeated in this assignment except the principles considered.
Refer to Annexure 2: Assignment 2 support document and make sure to comply with all the required tasks are performed.
