and intended treatment and outline the potential risks in terms of tumour cure rates

and acute reacting tissues and tumour a value of 10. Assume re-population begins at
16 days into treatment).

growth. Describe the various mechanisms by which cell loss occurs, how it is measured
in normal and neoplastic tissues and, in particular, the relevance of cell loss in tumour
