R.J. is a 36 year old male who presents to your clinic with the appearance of purplish spots on his neck and arms. He states he has been feeling quite fatigued for the last couple of months and is experiencing night sweats. He has a rapid heart rate, respirations and a low grade fever. Upon further questioning you ascertain that does not smoke, occasional drinker and has been in a monogamous relationship with another male for the past 2 years. What disease process do you think R.J. is experiencing?
