Directions for the Journal Article Posting and Synopsis
The journal article that you post must related at least one of the following topics:

-Alternative Work Arrangements
Posting of a link to the article is acceptable as you can access the article.
This article must be a journal article rather than some other kind of article. Keep in mind that journal articles are based on scholarly research whereas other kinds of articles may be based on personal opinion with very little factual background.
Go to http://lib.fit.edu (Links to an external site.) and use the Express Links to
the left. You will find that A to Z journal list to be helpful, and the Databases and
Indexes as well.
Must also create a written synopsis providing an overview of the article and
how it relates to the topic above of your choosing. The written synopsis should also include a well thought out critique of the article. The overview should be presented in MS Word format and should include the title of the article, the author, the title of the journal, the date of population and the volume and issue number. Name at the top of the written synopsis.
You must include the title of the article, the name of the journal, the author’s name, the
date, volume, and page numbers in your written overview.
In terms of length, the
written synopsis will generally consist of three paragraphs on average.
Please use your own words in writing your synopsis of
the article. The main purpose is to provide an overview and analysis (critique) of the article. Don’t forget to give a short explanation of how the article relates to the topic of your choosing above.
