To conduct peer review of other classmates’ submissions:
Your task is to give substantive and helpful feedback to your classmate. A good peer review includes:
1. Classmate name
2. What you learned (specifics!)
3. What helped and/or would help your classmate’s post be easy to read and digest

Positive early learning environments start with the teachers and staff when you create a positive social and emotional environment that is built on caring and loving relationships. Some children can’t explore and be educated, experience love and joy, until they feel safe. Their trust is the most important thing so that caregivers can help their goals be met.
Making sure that children are safe, responsive and in a nurturing environment is so important for their learning development. Also making sure that they are in a safe environment also allow us to make sure that there are no unwanted behaviors from that child. One behavior that can be displayed if a child is not in a safe environment is how they eat and what foods they consume. Making sure there is soft lighting and quiet music can sometimes sooth the child and make it easier for them to be more responsive to what foods you are presenting them.
My one to one that I discuss a lot has multiple issues with food. Mostly because of his resistance with textures he is likely to put up a fight even more if the classroom that we are in is loud or disruptive. Sometimes I’ve noticed if I remove him from the classroom and bring him into a smaller quieter setting, he is more likely to try or examine the food I am giving him. He does still put up a fight but in the quieter setting he does not get physical with me or other teachers in the room.
