Why do you believe this is a feasible dissertation topic?
In this context, the word feasible refers to such issues as the availability of extensive literature and current research on the topic so that a) you could complete the extensive literature review required for a dissertation, b) research participants could reasonably be expected to be available for you to gather original data related to this topic, c) the time required to research this topic would be appropriate for a dissertation, and so on.
In addressing this question, you are not expected to have all the answers to these far-reaching concerns, but you should demonstrate you have given the issue of feasibility considerable thought.
Why do you believe this topic has the potential to enable you to make a significant contribution to your field of professional practice?
In answering this question, you should consider issues such as: whether or not this topic lends itself to publications and conference presentations in order to establish yourself as an emerging scholar; if the topic will still be relevant and of widespread interest in about five years from now as you are building your career after graduation; and so on.
Once again, you are not expected to have all the answers to these far-reaching concerns, but you should demonstrate you have given considerable thought to the potential for professional contribution associated with the topic.
