The 15th c. in the north of Europe, such as in Flanders, and France, saw artists observing the natural world with new eyes. This was a huge break from the late medieval style. Now artists there were seeing the real world, as with observation of nature, details, space, and light. Choose a painting by Jan van Eyck or the Limbourg Brothers and describe this for us.
