In this final week, you are ready to wrap up your Capstone Project. You are a manager in a firm that produces a product in an industry of your choice. You have been doing a competitive analysis and are considering international expansion. Each week, you have added some information. In this final week, you will add more and put it all together.
In addition to compiling one final paper, you are presenting in front of your companys board of directors and sharing your findings from Week One through Week Five. You are also recommending the next steps. Read Chapters 15 and 16 in Farnham before you begin both parts of your capstone.
Take information gathered from your five previous milestone assignments and revise it into one comprehensive paper (10-15 pages). You will select the most critical information from the prior five weeks and add the following information:

- What are recent international trade policies that would affect your product/service?
- Does the country have a trade agreement with the U.S. that affects your product/service? If so, discuss.
- Does the country have a trade surplus or deficit relative to the U.S.?
- What is the exchange rate between the U.S. and the country you selected? Has there been appreciation or depreciation of the U.S. dollar relative to the other countrys currency?
- As a manager, how does this affect your decision to expand into that country? Will it affect your costs or ability to produce in that country?
- Would you recommend your firm expand into this country? If so, would you produce the product/service abroad? Would you expand to sell the product/service to a new target market? If you dont think your firm should expand into this country, why?
