Analyze the postmodern approach and its approach to counseling.
As previously stated, the postmodern approach emphasizes reality from the perspective of individuals in light of their own subjective experiences based on their interaction with society, culture, and environment. This approach has initiated a therapeutic approach that accentuates individuals as the interpreter as to what is right for them, pragmatic and practical solution oriented procedures, and change that occurs as a result with the clients themselves being the primary agent of change.
