For this essay, you will choose a controversial topic in which you can argue a specific point. Some questions to consider:

Is it a topic that interests you right now?
Is it a topic that you can research in the amount of time given?
Is it a topic that is debatable, but that hasn’t been hashed out or too widely debated? 
Can you look at the topic objectively and find fact – based, academic evidence to support your stance?

Double Space Everything
Include an MLA heading with your name, teacher’s name, class, and date. 
Include a header with your last name and page number.
