A refund is also available under no-fault cancellation: an order cancelled before writing work has begun receives full refund, and an order cancelled after writing work has begun receives partial refund proportionate to work not yet complete. The partial refund schedule runs from 90 percent (if cancellation is within 25 percent of the window used) to 30 percent (if cancellation is in the final 10 percent of the window), with the schedule documented explicitly in the service agreement.
What Refund Policy Does Not Cover
Refunds are not available for grade dissatisfaction where the deliverable met the contracted brief. What the Guarantees Do Not Cover
Several items are explicitly outside the scope of EssayFount guarantees. Examination and timed assessment work is outside the service scope entirely and carries no guarantee because the service does not accept such work. Grade outcomes are not guaranteed because grades depend on instructor judgment that is outside the service's control. Institutional policy compliance at the student's institution is not guaranteed because institutional policies vary and change; the service operates on a model essay and editing framing that is compliant with mainstream institutional policy, but each student is responsible for verifying the policy at their own institution.
Outcomes on specific assignment prompts where the assignment requires information only the student has (class discussion context, instructor-specific framework, private course materials) are not guaranteed because the writing expert does not have access to those materials. The service can only work with the brief, source materials, and rubric the student supplies.
How to Invoke a Guarantee
- Identify the relevant guarantee. Determine which of the six guarantees applies to the issue you are reporting (originality, human authorship, unlimited revisions, on-time delivery, refund, privacy).
- Gather supporting evidence. For an originality or AI-detection dispute, the institutional scan report is the primary evidence. For a revision request, the rubric or instructor feedback documents the required change. For a missed deadline, the platform timestamp is the evidence of record.
- File through the order portal. Open the order in your student account and select the guarantee invocation option. Attach the supporting evidence and describe the requested remedy.
