Homework – Read Chapter 9: The School Curriculum in an Era of Standards. As a student your Learning Contract for each course lists “Outcomes”; discuss the term and idea about outcomes in your journal as they relate to your studies and outcomes for the students in your work classroom (as a paraprofessional/teacher assistant). Pay close attention to the issues that you will face in teaching. This is a complicated exercise so you are allowed as much as you can about the topic.
