An imagery script is one of a number of psychological tools that assists in connecting the cognitive aspect of performance with the motor aspects of performance. You are using your mind and senses to create the physical experience as you want it to happen. This is a technique that would be practiced as part of a training program just like skill drills and sport-specific conditioning. There are unique characteristics of imagery which differentiate it from guided visualization and mental rehearsal.
Suggestion on how to approach this task
1) Listen to the lecture to familiarize yourself with imagery. ( optional )

2) Then read a few of the sample imagery scripts. You will notice that some scripts are short and to the point, focusing on a specific element of performance whereas others are longer, like a pre-competition script. You are not graded on the length!
3) From there, decide what you would like to write your imagery script on.
4) You will turn in two items, 1) imagery script checklist and, 2) the imagery script.
