This is a 3000 words essay, the topic is: In January 2018 the company Carillion went into liquidation. As a major provider of services under contract to public bodies there were commentators in the media stating that outsourcing had failed. Discuss what you think are the lessons from the collapse of Carillion, and what role you think the private sector should have in the delivery of public services.
The structure should be as followed: (1) 300 words introduction; (2) 900 words about concepts and theories (i.e., concepts and theories that may required in the analysis part, such as new public financial management, outsourcing) ; (3) 300-400 words case study (i.e., Carilion liquidation) description; (4) 1100-1200 words analysis about; and (5) 300 words conclusion.
