The leadership portfolio provides you with an opportunity to reflect on and effectively communicate what you have learned about your leadership style throughout this course. This portfolio is very important for your career as it is a great way to exhibit your leadership skills during job interviews, promotion interviews, or leadership meetings.

Specific guidelines for this portfolio have been provided, but the required components of the portfolio are:

  1. An articulation of your personal mission statement.

  2. A summary of your leadership style, including key qualities you possess.

  3. An analysis of your Leadership Practices Inventory® (LPI) results identifying your strengths and weaknesses.

  4. Use specific examples of your leadership experience to reflect on how you have exhibited specific leadership behaviors in each situation to illustrate your strengths and weaknesses.

  5. A summary of your differential advantage (what makes you unique?)

  6. A listing of 3 leaders you identify with most, and an explanation of why you do so.

  7. A 5-year personal/career development plan with specific goals for each year to leverage strengths and address weaknesses.

You are encouraged to use a schematic report format for this submission. There is no page limit. No explicit integration of course content is required.
