Description of Required Assignment (RA)
A problem diagnosis is an objective examination of the functioning of the organization being studied to explore what may be impeding more effective and/or efficient functioning. Symptoms of the problem will be identified and a cause analysis will be performed, resulting in an accurate assessment of the actual problem.
In this module, you will research, analyze, and develop one additional section of your Organization Development Proposal Report. Refer to the directions below to develop the Problem Diagnosis section in relation to the organization you are analyzing. This section should be 5 pages in length and include 4 to 5 scholarly sources.

Directions
In your report, first write the questions and then write the answers
Analyze how well the organization is currently functioning.
Determine one or two symptoms of what is impeding better functioning in the organization. Justify your reasoning.
Identify a diagnostic model to facilitate the problem diagnosis. Provide a rationale supporting the model you choose.
After a comprehensive analysis of the data generated from the diagnostic model, identify the primary problem impacting the organization. Justify your decision and support with examples.
Determine and describe several probable cause(s) of the problem. Discuss any risks associated with the problem.
Identify and discuss at least one relevant theory related to why the problem occurred. Include any insights provided by the theory.
This section of your plan should be a Microsoft Word document, approximately 5 pages in length, and including at least 4 to 5 scholarly sources. Your document should be written in a clear, concise, and organized manner; demonstrate ethical scholarship in accurate representation and attribution of sources; and display accurate spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
Submit your 5-page report in Microsoft Word format using the APA Paper Guide. Use the following file naming convention: LastnameFirstInitial_M5_A2.doc.
