By Germany sinking 3 of our ships prior to us entering the war, it would have been justified to start a war with no remorse. Especially since their Government was willing to try to initiate the war solely for the intention of the, ad Mexico invading and conquering the United States. It was still honorable to mention that the United States had no issue with the people of Germany and their fight was for Democracy and not against the citizens but communistic rulers
