Part IV: Choose THREE (3) Primary Sources for Your Audience to Read in Preparation for Your Presentation (20pts each; 60pts total)
We want your audience to come to your hypothetical presentation having already done a little background reading.
You will choose THREE (3) primary sources for people to read beforehand. Remember: a primary source is an eye witness account or some other source created at the time of the event! (If youre not sure if what you found counts as a primary source, just ask me!)
Only ONE primary source can come from Voices of Freedom (though you do not have to use any documents from VoF!) Primary Sources for Part IV must be written sources, not visual sources (youll use these for Part VI below).
For any primary sources you use outside Voices of Freedom, include a link where I can read it for myself. The link must work in the final project in order to receive credit. For any primary source from Voices of Freedom, be sure to tell me the document number!
For EACH primary source, you will include a brief (4-5 sentence) summary AND the reason why you chose this specific source as background reading for your presentation (be sure to do both parts!) Do not worry about citations for your summaries.
My topic is The New Deal 1933 and how it affected workers rights and helped people get jobs. Three primary sources need to be chosen and used about this topic.
