Also, project managers must understand the effects of Gantt and PERT charts in the critical path methodology (CPM). You are presented with data to use while creating a critical path. Gantt and PERT charts and CPMs can be created and performed in Microsoft Excel; many project management software suites provide users with enhanced tools for simplifying these tasks
