Your final exam is an essay exam. You are to choose two (2) of the following three questions, and write a 2-3 double-spaced page (1000-1500 word) response to each. In your response, please be sure to engage with the course material. Provide at least three concrete references to course material, demonstrating your knowledge of that material, and your ability to apply course content to concrete, current situations.

Give a concrete example of a current event in US political/social culture that is religious in nature, providing a link to the story. Summarize the event, explain how it is of religious significance, and discuss how your study of religion this semester provides you with better understanding and insight into the nature of the event, and your own response to the event. Please be sure to engage with the course materials in your discussion, providing at least three concrete references to the text book, additional reading materials, and/or viewing materials.
