- Focus each body paragraph on individual elements you wish to analyze

- Use MEAL to structure the paragraphs
- Use evidence to back up your claims (e.g., if you say the article uses
- pathos, provide specific examples and quotations that show this). Be sure
- to explain why your examples illustrate your point- remember
