Self-management of chronic health conditions via healthcare technology has demonstrated to beneficial to both the patient and the healthcare provider. Hospitalizations are less frequent, quality of life is improved, and patients are empowered to make decisions regarding treatment of their chronic illness (Radhakrishnan, Xie, Berkley, & Kim, 2016).
Today, it is estimated that up to 15-20% of adolescents in the United States have one or more chronic illnesses (Jin, An, & Wang, 2017). Some of the most common chronic illnesses in children are:
Asthma
Diabetes
Hypertension
Sickle Cell Anemia
Cerebral Palsy

Search for an innovative technological device or program that will assist in the self-management of one of the above mentioned chronic illnesses in children and teenagers.
