After reading the required chapters this week in Gundry (2012), address the following:

Discuss how and if your understanding of the background of the Scriptures, especially the New Testament, affects the way that you study, interpret and apply biblical teachings. Particularly focus on the canon, text, and translations and the importance of each of these to your views of the New Testament.
