1. Select one of your favorite stories that you listed for Lecture 1, and describe one of the characters for that story. Explain what type of character your selected character is. Dynamic/round, or flat/static? Does the character you selected fit into one of the character archetypes (see handout)? Explain your reasoning.

2. Imagine that somebody is writing a story about your life. What are things that have happened in your life that make you a dynamic (changing) character?  Do you interact with anyone in your life who might be written as a static/flat character?
