I would like your help with the Filling in the Method section and Data Analyses. You SHOULD use the papper “The influence of positive peer feedback..in high socially anxious individuals ” an example for the Method section. This paper is from the SAME RESEARCH as mine. we need only the SESSION 1 OF THE EXPERIEMENT. so in the method do NOT describe SESSION2.
In the method you should include:
Participant Characteristics
(Indicate how many participants will be recruited and screened (and on what basis will participants be included/excluded.. you can find all of these indormation in the example paper that I have uploaded).
how many participants, which groups were defined (if any), mean age and SD (per group), boys/girls, where are the participants from and how were they recruited, mean IQ or other relevant characteristics, consent (parental), ethical approval.
Materials
(Indicate what instruments, tests, equipment, etc. will be used; provide sufficiently elaborate descriptions).
Aim of the instrument/test, how is it conducted (self-report, interview), how many scales or factors, how many items/questions per scale, in which format, what are the answer possibilities, min-max scores, psychometric information from previous studies.
Research Design and Data Analyses
(Describe the type of research design you use and justify your choice for this particular design. It should be clear how this design allows for testing the research questions. Justify the choice of statistical analyses. What statistical analyses are used to test the research questions). For my research question we need pearson analysis
In the thesis include sections Participants, Materials, Procedure, and Data Analyses. Procedure describes how the study was conducted and includes: how participants were tested, order of materials, instructions, allocation to groups, randomization and counterbalancing, the response rate (any participants drop out and why), any other issues that may have influenced the test session (eg unexpected noise disruption).
