Prior to the 2020 Pandemic remote and hybrid work existed. However, when the pandemic forced nationwide shutdown for all but essential workers, many managers had to scramble to figure out how to quickly manage differently. 

Consider the role for both managers of essential workers (who had to continue reporting in-person to work) and for managers of non-essential workers (who were able to transfer to remote or hybrid work). Research how management changed or adapted to the pandemic and its aftermath.

  • Identify at least 4 things you read about or observed management do differently as a result of the pandemic. (Include at least 2 management observations of in-person essential workers and at least 2 management observations for remote/hybrid non-essential workers).
  • How have these changes influenced new managerial norms in the ongoing- and post-pandemic world? 

Write a 700- to 1,050-word paper (2-3 pages, double spaced, 11-point font) discussing these management changes and new managerial norms.

Include a before and after visual (such as a table, chart, illustration, etc) to add context to your writing.
