Loading work into C&W under your ePortfolio

A couple of tips for when you begin to load items into your ePortfolio in C&W.

Remember these will be graded for completeness, and I follow the rubric very closely.

When you open your ePortfolio, you will see a “table of contents” to the right of your name.

Use the drop down to see the items that are to be loaded. For this term, you will only load items under the professional profile, BNURPO.01.0 Evidenced-based Decisions through BNURPO 11.0 Reflective Practice

The first tab after home is Professional Profile. When you touch on this a page opens and there is a line to drop down the instructions:

Professional Profile Instructions

Upload and submit an updated resume and career plan you developed in this course. You should have one-year and five-year career plans, but they do not need to be in separate files.

Under this area you should load both your resume that you submitted (updated with critiques) and your 1 and 5-year plan – that is all in this part.

Next tab under the table of content is:

BNURPO.01.0 Evidenced-based Decisions

Utilize critical thinking, clinical reasoning, and research in evidence-based decision making to improve nursing practice and patient outcomes across healthcare settings.

When submitting in the following 11 outcomes load any papers completed for the course work completed that meets these instructions…i.e. NUR 430 Describe the project and how this met the outcome; next load your project work.

A summary is required for each of the 11 narratives (outcomes). This summary is a minimum of 200-words in APA format. It should include the name of the course(s) and how this course(s) guided you to best meet this outcome.=min of 2200 words

When submitting information into C&W make sure you are choosing the portal for NUR 490 and myself as the instructor or it will not load in the correct ePortfolio and I will not receive notice. Then if I don’t see it, I can’t grade it to flow into the grade book correctly.

A couple of things I look for per the Rubric:

NUR490.EP.01 Professional Profile

NUR490.EP.02 Technical Skills

NUR490.EP.03 Co-curricular Activities

NUR490.EP.04 Learning Outcomes Narrative  — and so forth……
