You and a partner will select one of the learning theories from the Bates book. You and your partner will expand on the theory you select in a slide show. Provide the following in your presentation:
Name of theory and main author/scholar
Summary and tenets of the theory
Application of the concepts in real life
Using it in real life: come up with an activity that encompasses the theory for the class
Your final thoughts or critiques of the theory
You will need to do some internet research on the theory you and your partner select. The Bates book provides a very brief summary of each theory and you will need to expand on that. Make sure that you and your partner have no more than 10 slides for you presentation.
