- Write a 500-word essay visually analyzing the object:
- Focus on describing the artwork, paying particular attention to details
- Use your observations to make one, strong, specific statement about why the artist chose these formal qualities.
- Use readings and lectures, as well as external sources if you wish, to support your claim.
- Please include pertinent images and full tombstone info captions with your essay.
Essays will be graded on their success at constructing a cohesive argument with a strong thesis supported by visual analysis of the selected objects.
Due: February 11 by midnight via Canvas submission.
