This is a reflection assignment. My main goal in these reflections is to see how you think about the concepts shared in the learning module and how you might apply them in your own life.
Assignment formatting requirements
- Reflection assignments should be a 12-point font with one-inch margins MLA Word format.
- The length is not to exceed 1 page to 2 pages. (This includes the MLA header)
- All terminology should be bolded.
These assignments will be graded based on:
- following assignment guidelines
- integration of course terminology for the current learning module. (Please note, using terminology from prior learning modules if good, but not considered terminology for the current module)
- evidence of application of concepts to develop students communication skills.
Reflection assignments can be turned in late with a 10% penalty per day.
- Consider a workplace, team, or organization of which you have been a part
- Describe the performance, appearance, social, and resource allocation norms
- Describe the climate of the group, including each element of climate trust, supportiveness, and cohesiveness
- Why do you think diverse groups perform better?
- Contrast and compare leadership you have experienced from someone you viewed as a good and someone you viewed as a bad leader. What were the similarities? What were the differences? What behaviors made one a good leader and the other bad. Be specific. How can you replicate the good leader’s approach?
