My topic for week 6 final paper Welfare Reform. I will be using evolutionary morality as the ethical theories from western civilization. In 1996 Democratic President Bill Clinton and Republican led Congress passed The Personal Responsibility and Work Opportunity Reconciliation Act (PRWORA) also known as the “Welfare Reform Act.” This is a very touchy subject to some, I agreed with this it has been long overdue. Welfare was first established in 1935 for men who lost their jobs during the great depression to help provide for their families. Today it became a way of life for so many women and past on from generation to generation. Although we are going thru a pandemic now the corrupt welfare system needs to be revised again.
Final Paper is the culmination of all of the ethical theories and philosophers we have studied and is an extension of the Week 3 Paper Proposal Assignment.
