Choose a book or a collection of articles on any topic described in the Syllabus – and write about it (eg. Jews and the Left or Ethnic NY.) The virtue of this approach: you don’t have to do any research. The sources are linked to class content (or available in Library Reserves). Note, you can use a topic already discussed in the Response Papers or Artefact Project, but it has to be a significantly different take for this extended version. Note too, we will not get to all the topics named in the Syllabus because of time, but I am happy for you to chose something that we won’t have talked about in class time, if it interests you.
