  • Repairs, rebuilds and tests electrical components offline to be stocked as spare parts. Maintains housekeeping on all jobs and in the electrical shop..
  • Knowledgeable in the install and troubleshooting of all types and sizes of AC and DC motors, generators, transformers, circuit breakers, rectifiers, electronic controls, control panels, starters, switches, lighting equipment, electronic scales, power distribution, communication systems, inverters and motor drives, conduit and fittings, soldering and replacing parts.
  • Operates electronic an electrical test equipment. (Megohmmeter, volt meter, ohmmeter, amp meter, laptop, etc.)
  • Read blueprints or technical diagrams
  • Install and maintain wiring, control, and lighting systems
  • Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers
  • Identify electrical problems with a variety of testing devices
  • Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand tools and power tools
  • Follow state and local building regulations based on the National Electric Code
  • Direct and train workers to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring or equipment
