To create a plan for how you would carry out your project.
Overview
In this part of the portfolio project, you will create your project plan. This will serve a very important role, just as blueprints for construction of a building, or a prepared route on a map in navigating to a desired destination.
Action Items
- Review the Portfolio Project: Overview as needed.
- Read the grading rubric for this assignment.
- Complete the IHI Quality Improvement model for Week 3, QI 201: Planning for Spread, prior to beginning this assignment. Play close attention to Lesson 2: Tactics for Spreading Change.
- In a Microsoft Word document, prepare your project plan using the Institute for Healthcare Improvement Framework for Spread (QI 201: Lesson 2: Spreading Changes) as a guide.
- In narrative format, address the seven key components to consider in a large-scale spread effort. (These areas are addressed in detail in the IHI QI 201, Lesson 2 module on Tactics for Spreading Change)

- After you have described the project plan in detail (above), organize your plan into a table, identifying each of the tasks you will address in each section
