The purpose of this exercise is to allow you to have some fun while you learn a little more about history.
Pretend that you are in a time machine and have traveled back from the year 2020 but once you start traveling something bad happens and the machine is stuck going backwards after you hit the year 1930, what era will you choose to pick to settle down in now, assuming that 1930 is the earliest you could choose. You can travel backwards as far as you want but be sure to explain why you pick this time period to be stuck in.
You are told that the time machine cant be fixed, so this means that you will have to stay in the time period that you choose probably for the rest of your life. Explain your answer from an historical and a personal reason.
This paper should be at least two pages in length and should follow the same format as described in your research paper and other essay exercises, where you show your sources and quotes.
