The HSS Project Sponsor approached you about her concern regarding one of the most critical aspects of delivering a successful project. Her concern centered on scope creep and gold plating resulting from not carefully managing adherence to requirements and/or changes to requirements. She explained that in her experience, scope creep typically results from unapproved work from outside the project team, whereas gold plating typically results from unapproved work from inside the project team.
