Ashford 7: – Week 6 – Final Project

Learning Module
You have been learning how to design instructional materials and use technology to increase the effectiveness, efficiency, impact and appeal of your instruction. With the advent of the Internet, searching and locating information has become an important skill for students to develop. To develop this skill in your students, you assign a research project where they must use technology to search, collect, and analyze information. In addition to searching for information, you ask students to create a final report, presentation or other product that can be shared with an audience.
Although your goal is to enable students to conduct these searches on their own, you recognize that students sometimes need scaffolds or helpful reminders. To that end:
Create an Internet “cheat sheet” that provides helpful      hints on how to search. (Students often create better products when they      have an example of what the teacher expects.)
Create a wiki, WebQuest, or other technology tool to      house this information and the provided links.
For your Learning Module Final Project, create a Learning Module (ten to twelve pages in length) that includes:
The grade level and subject being taught
The purpose and learning outcomes
The principles of implementation for each item created
The documents created (and links to creations)
An assessment or evaluation tool
Discuss your planning process. Make sure you indicate how you will meet the individual needs of your students. You may use any or all of the instructional materials you have created during our course. Support your choices with evidence from the text and at least two other credible resources. Make sure you include your Internet “cheat sheet” and a link to your technology tool (however please note, these do not count toward the length requirement).Preparing the Final Project
