First, select a few objects to use in a still life set up. After you have created a still life setup, watch the video tutorial below. Make several sketches in your sketchbook or scrap paper to generate ideas. It may be helpful for you to make some test paintings of your still life as well before you begin making your abstract painting.
You are free to incorporate other media such as markers, colored pencils, etc.
