In 500 – 750 words, respond to the following question prompts in essay form. You do not need to answer the questions in order. Explore and analyze yourself, your current role, or past experience in a job. Use this to help identify action items for your final project. Potential action items do not have to be finalized.

- Apply the concepts in the readings.
- Use the reading guide to help you respond to the questions.
- As a graduate student, you are encouraged to use outside sources.
- Use APA guidelines. Title page, Double-spaced, in-text citations, reference sources, etc.
- Do not list the questions. Write your response in essay form. As long as you are addressing the concepts below, I do not care about the order of your answers. These questions are meant to challenge your current mindset of leading/managing projects and teams.
Questions:
- Am I ready to change how I think about my work and role and do I want to let go of control of how things are done?
- Do I believe that teams can manage their work without interference (Micromanaging etc.)?
- Does the culture in my organization encourage risk-taking or risk aversion?
- Discuss the barriers to building an agile business. Do you recognize any of these barriers within your organization?
- Could my colleagues consistently define the few priorities we are focused on together right now? How are action items currently prioritized on my team and throughout the organization?
- Do I (and leadership) understand how our customers experience working with us every day? E.g. Are customers even involved? What is your relationship with your customers?
- HINT: When addressing the questions under #4, draw upon the agile concepts of Culture, Clarity, Closeness to Customers, and Collaboration (The Agile Leader text) to formulate your response.
