1. In your first paragraph of 5-7 sentences, summarize your own thoughts about artificial intelligence or any other aspect of modern technology related to it. Remember, a summary is a shortened form of a longer passage or set of ideas. When you summarize your thoughts, you need to be specific, but understand that this is still not a complete essay. Summary criteria is in Chapter 1 of Writing and Reading Across Curriculum the Curriculum. Answering the following questions in paragraph format may help:

2. For your second paragraph of 5-7 sentences, pick one article from the “Artificial Intelligence” chapter (Chapter 12) and critique it using the criteria mentioned in the chapter on “Critical Reading and Critique” (Chapter 2). Whether you agree with the article or not, do you feel that it presents a successful argument?
3. For the third paragraph of 5-7 sentences, summarize another article from Chapter 12. Be sure explain the points of the article clearly. In your summary, be sure to use a direct quotation from the article, cited correctly in MLA format.
