FOR EXAMPLE: take the Ukraine 2 1/2 years ago.. An Individual perspective might focus on Vladimir Putin and his personality, and/or recent Ukrainian presidents, or the self interest of individual Russians, Ukrainians, Crimeansor east Ukrainians (all of the latter technically Ukrainian). A State-level analysis would concentrate more on the interests of Russia as a former-superpower that “feels” disrespected and need to recover influence, to name a few things. A System-level perspective would focus on the Big Picture of how Russia and the Ukraine relate to regional power issues (E. Europe), NATO, the U.S. (US), the U.N. (UN), and the world system in general.
