**Part one of a three part assignment**
Overview
For this overall Analysis Paper Assignments, therewill be three parts. The Analysis Paper: Topic Selection Assignment isyour opportunity to select a topic from Prompt A that includes a minimum of 3paragraphs of rationale/justification for your topic. For your Analysis Paper: Topic Selection Assignment, youshould focus on a topic that is useful to you in your current and/or futurecareer or something that motivates interest.
Instructions
Choose a major strategy document (e.g., Nuclear Posture Review, Cyber Strategy,National Defense Strategy, Intelligence Strategy) of a particularadministration and do a comparison and contrast of that same kind of documentfrom another administration (e.g., 2010 versus 2017 Nuclear Posture Review).The following should be included in your paper: 1) A basic description of eachdocument, its key elements and critical distinctives; 2) A delineation thesimilarities and differences between the two documents; 3) An assessment of thestrengths and weaknesses of each particular document; 4) An assessment of thethreats that provided the basis for the document; 5) A review of the prevailingopinions regarding the efficacy of each document; 6) An assessment on how thisstrategy document was implemented. 7) Finally, there should be anethics-based analysis and/or a worldview analysis integrated (in applicablesections) in the paper, a separate section or it can be both (integrated &a separate sectionthat is preferred). You may NOT choose a National SecurityStrategy (NSS) unless it is something special or different from the NSSAssessment Paper Assignment. Since there have been several assignmentsassociated with National Security Strategies in this coursethis generic topicis not an option unless there is something unique about your proposal (talk toyour instructor if you have a proposal).
Requirementsfor the Analysis Paper: Topic Selection Assignment are outlined asfollows:
Lengthof assignment is 13 full body pages.
Formatof assignment is latest version of APA.
Titlepage, body of the paper, and a reference page are required.
o Body of the paper includes the promptdetails with a minimum of 3 paragraphs of rationale/justification withcitations for your choice.
o A logical outline comprised of at least4 major points of discussion and 12 minor points within each major point isgiven. Points clearly align to inquiry essential to the thesis or conclusion(s)
o Projected/hypothesized thesis or conclusionclearly derives from points explored in projected framework.
Youshould have a total of 3 scholarly references/sources and a reference page.
Note: For the outline, please useRoman numerals to indicate the main points and lower-case letters to indicateany tertiary points and identify some scholarly sources germane to one or morepoints. Notional generic example only:

II. Abasic description of each major strategy document
III. Delineationof similarities and differences (Supporting evidence)
a. Point1 similarity
b. Point2 similarity
c. Point1 difference
