AP PSYCH PROJECT: PSYCH IN YOUR WORLD
One thing you might start to notice as an AP Psych student is that you start to acknowledge the world of Psychology outside of the textbook and our classroom. In this project, you will identify at least five examples of psychology in your life/the world (articles, news stories, videos, pictures, advertisements, personal experiences, etc.). For each of the examples, you will write a written response that incorporates the criteria below. Your combined entries will form the Psych in My World Scrapbook.
SPECIFICATIONS:
At least five artifacts from a variety of sources (video, article, news story, advertisement, picture, art, personal story, etc.) Each artifact accompanied by a written response (in paragraph form) connecting it to one or more AP Psych concepts Overall, at least one concept from each unit in the course must be referenced at some point in your scrapbook Written responses (point 2) should include the following:
o A description of the artifact
o A full explanation of how the artifact connects to concept(s)/terminology covered in AP Psychology o Further question(s) you wish to explore after exploring the artifact
o Written in a clear and objective voice (think about coming at it from the psychologist perspective) All sources referenced with APA citation(s) (including in-text references for text/images and bibliography).
