Choose one of the following topics of interest to you and propose a sampling method to collect 100 subjects for data analysis. The initial post is due by Thursday of the assigned week and the responses are due by Sunday. Grades will be based on the originality of your post and relevance to the topic being discussed; 25 points will be awarded for the initial post and 5 points will be awarded for each response. Students are required to give response to at least ONE post written by other classmate. The statement of “I agree/disagree with Mary” is not an appropriate response and will be assigned zero points for the discussion board. If you agree/disagree with another post, you need to explain the rationale behind your feedback statement. Your original post should contain a minimum of 250 words, and your response statement should contain a minimum of 100 words (your original post and response statements must both be free of any spelling and/or grammatical errors). - Systolic blood pressure (BP) measurements of patients before and after medication treatment
- Fasting blood sugar measurements of patients before and after medication treatment
- Students’ heart rate per min before and after 30 min aerobic workout in a college
- Statistics Exam 1 grades of 2 classes taught by the same professor
- Annual income of family/cases under Department of Child Services (DCS) in two local DCS offices
- Patients’ length of stay after heart bypass surgery in two hospitals
- Patients’ length of stay after hip replacement surgery in two hospitals
- Participants’ body weight before and after 3 months’ of two different exercise programs
- Ages of nurses in a critical access hospital and an acute care hospital
- Students’ daily water intake (in fluid ounces) by athletes and non-athletes attending the same university.
- Nightly amount of sleep by adults with short commutes (less than 30 minutes) to work and adults with long commutes (30 minutes or more) to work
- Women’s scores on Perceived Stress Scale (PSS) by migraine diagnosis (e.g., formally diagnosed with migraines vs. not formally diagnosed with migraines)
