You are a diversity consultant hired to collect information about Kansas City General Hospital (KCGH) and report to its diversity steering committee. The hospitals leadership supports a cultural and policy shift toward being more inclusive of diverse patients. KCGH is a large, urban hospital that serves diverse racial and ethnic populations. Your task is to craft a presentation for the committee that assesses KCGH and includes at least three specific areas for improvement.
Directions
KCGH has hired you as a diversity consultant to assess the hospitals current state of cultural and social sensitivity toward diversity and then present your findings and recommendations to the hospitals diversity steering committee. Your presentation will need to address the following:
