For the first case study paper due on Day 7 of week 5, students will be required to write a 5-6 page paper comparing how two different countries responded to the COVID-19 pandemic. One can look at some of the pandemic plans to analyze if these were followed and can be found at the following websites:
This paper should include, but is not limited to the following:
- The name and responsibility of the major government agencies, NGOs, and health organizations responsible for planning and response.
- Compare and contrast what is similar as well as different about how each nation responded. How do the governance structures compare? What NGOs or FBOs are involved? What collaborative partnerships are developed?
- How has the response impacted the national economy?
Additionally, your paper needs to be double spaced, and include a cover page and reference page (these do not count as part of the 5-6 pages). It will be worth 150 points and it will be evaluated using the grading criteria listed below. All papers must be written APA format and all sources need to be cited appropriately. A minimum of 4 scholarly, peer reviewed journal articles must be used. The same structure should be used throughout the paper.
